Our Story
Mother Bee Maternity® was founded in 2022 by two friends who bonded over their shared struggles to find fashionable maternity clothes. After countless frustrating shopping trips, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
As new moms navigating the joys and challenges of pregnancy, we had a wishlist of what we really wanted in maternity wear:
- Trendy styles that didn’t look obviously maternity
- Soft, stretchy fabrics that accommodated our changing bodies
- Flattering fits that made us feel beautiful
- Versatile pieces for all stages of pregnancy and beyond
- Affordable prices without sacrificing quality
With those criteria in mind, we set out to design the kinds of modern, mix-and-match maternity clothes we wished we had. Our collection focuses on staple pieces in classic silhouettes, using bump-friendly fabrics like jersey knit and stretch cotton. The result is a line of laidback maternity wear that seamlessly transitions from bump to postpartum.

Our Fabric & Sourcing
At Mother Bee Maternity® we carefully select fabrics not just for their softness and stretch, but for their eco-friendly sourcing and manufacturing.
Our super-soft jersey knits and cotton blends are OEKO-TEX certified to be free of harmful substances. We use durable fabrics designed to withstand stretch and wear, so they transition beautifully into the postpartum period.
We work with fair trade suppliers and manufacturers using ethical production methods. Many of our fabrics are ECONYL®, made from regenerated nylon recycled from ocean and landfill waste.
From design to production, we aim for sustainability across our entire supply chain. The planet matters to us – and to the generation we’re nurturing! We’re committed to eco-friendly maternity fashion.
